A 22,000 square-foot nightclub in a former ice factory has nightly
dancing to various themes. With three rooms to choose from and two
floors, there are plenty of options as to where to shake your booty.
Remember the first night you snuck out to go dancing at the one
good, all-ages club. The excitement.
The anticipation. Not noticing that you're overdressed? Well, this
is the place you probably went out to when you told your mama that
you'd be spending the night at your friend's house (and your friend
told his mama vice versa). The usual techno and old school dance
beats are loud. Everyone's dressed up and out of their weekday-workday
closets. The neighborhood is sketchy and this place is best enjoyed
with a group of people. It's all going on from 9 pm-4 am. Cover
varies. Full bar; valet parking. Located on the North side of the
street, this large concrete building has tiny porthole windows on
the second floor are visible from the street; parking is intense.

Blue:

On Las Palmas ave in Hollywood between Hollywood Blvd. and Sunset.
The restaurant is open from 6pm to 10pm, last seating at 9pm. After
that, Blue becomes a very different place when the club element takes
over. Blue usually hosts promoter-driven clubs every night of the
week, ranging from Goth nights to your generic House music club complete
with good looking well dressed Hollywood people. Blue is located in
the historic Las Palmas Theater, and gives off sort of an "industrial
warehouse with class" vibe that is quite unique in LA. Capacity
is 650, but the line outside often is much much bigger than that.
Getting in on the weekends can be difficult sometimes, but well worth

Florentine

This dance joint hosts a crowd of well-dressed men and women who are
looking to score. The dress code is "strictly" enforced.

Miyagis:

The weekends get wild at Miyagis (there's no cover) and the third
floor basically turns into a dance club with lovely ladies dancing
on every table-top and bar in sight. Luckily, the 16000-square-feet
offers 7 sushi bars and 5 liquor bars - enough to meet everyone's
eating and drinking needs. Monday features all you can eat sushi for
$16.95 from 7 to 11:30 pm. Find Miyagis on the Sunset Strip two blocks
west of Crescent Heights on the north side of Sunset Blvd.

Opium

You can find the latest in Hip-Hop as well as some old school favorites
at the Opium Den. The Opium Den's weekly Friday and Satuday night
promotion starts at 9pm., and features Deejay Ben Baller. The price
is $10. This is a popular spot, so arrive early. Dress is upscale,
and ID is required for this 21+ event. For more information, call

The Polo Club is Alhambra's newest and hottest spot to party on Thursday's
and Saturday's playing the best of House, Spanish Rock, Salsa, Meringue,
80's, Hip Hop and Cambia's. This 3 story venue features one large
dance floor, with fully stocked bar. Heated outdoor smoking patio,
plenty of chairs and tables to sit back and relax. Second floor features
pool tables and full bar.
