Boba City Café, located on Reseda and Devonshire in the LA Fitness plaza, specializes in mostly milk tea, juices, and coffee. Recently opened, the café is very spacious and provides a very nice décor. In addition, the milk tea drinks with boba are pretty good in the Valley compared with Tea Zone (Lollicup) if not better. However, boba drinks in the San Fernando Valley are priced more than the drinks available in the San Gabriel Valley which makes Boba City Café no different in pricing. (Boba drinks are $0.75 more). However, the atmosphere and the quality of the drinks makes this café a worthwhile place to hang out. -kk

Sanam Luang Café, located in North Hollywood on Sherman Way, is one of old-school Thai restaurants in the Valley. Although Sanamluang is best known for there Thai noodle, I though the food overall was not that good. Despite the ok food, the restaurant is still pretty popular amongst the locals as a hang-out place. Word of caution, though, do not go there very late at night as Asian gangs are known to frequent there. -kk

Kiku Teriyaki, located on 9250 Reseda Blvd. #4, is proclaimed as "the best teriyaki in town". However, I beg to differ. After trying both their beef teriyaki and chicken bowl, I must say that their teriyaki is the worst in town because both tasted very bland. Kiku Teriyaki does not compare to Teriyaki Masudaya, which has better teriyaki beef and chicken and offers chicken cutlet w/curry sauce as well as California roll. After dining there twice, I would suggest anyone not to go there and go to the other Teriyaki place instead. -kk
